Alexander Valur Brynjólfsson

I’m a certified mountain, glacier and driver guide as well as a proud member of the Icelandic SAR team. My journey began with a deep admiration for nature and a fascination with how people connect to wild places. I started guiding when I was 19 years old and have recently begun building my own guiding company to share that connection—offering small-group adventures focused on safety, learning, and genuine experience. Whether leading a technical climb, a glacier walk, or a custom expedition, I prioritize clear communication, safety, humor, fun, and personal growth. My goal is to create meaningful journeys where every participant gains not only new skills but also a deeper understanding of the landscapes we move through.
